-- The Wall of Recognition --
|
|
|
Purpose: |
|
To call attention to
recognition from already existing programs given to significant
transportation- related achievements of Ohio individuals, teams, or
organizations. The intention is not to create or have created new
awards or other forms of recognition. |
|
Grantor Eligibility: |
The grantor must be a recognized transportation-related entity with
a statewide, multi-state, national, or international presence. Preferably,
the grantor will be one of the entities affiliated with the OTEC
conference with a presence in Ohio. No awards from sub-state
entities may be recognized with the exception that if the entity has
no statewide organization, but has statewide coverage through
multiple chapters, awards from the chapters may be considered. |
|
Eligible Recipients: |
|
The individual, team, or organization
receiving the award must be based in Ohio or the recognition must be
for an Ohio-specific transportation project or activity. |
|
|
|
By
October 5th, 2007 the selected submitters must deliver to the OTEC
Administrator, an 11 x 17 inch-display board (for recognition of a
project, the display size may be doubled to C size or 17 x 22
inches), one-half of which is devoted to a photograph, diagram or
other graphic display, and the other half is devoted to
identification of the award, the award grantor, the recipient, a
description of the award (optional), and the recipient's
achievement. The description of the achievement and the graphics
must clearly demonstrate a connection to transportation. All
information included in the display must have been contained in the
original e-mail submission. The display lay out should be attractive
